100 PER versus 250 PER

The term "paired-end" read (PER) refers to the reading of both the forward and reverse template strands of the same receptor sequence during sequencing. The overall read length of the sequence can be increased by using the sequence read from both strands (with some overlap between both reads to increase confidence in the paired-read).

 

 

All of our primers cover the CDR3 region. The Illumina 100/150 PER primers cover from within the third framework region through the beginning of the C-region. The human Illumina MiSeq 250 PER primers and all Roche 454 primers cover from within the first framework region through the C-region. The mouse Illumina MiSeq 250 PER primers and all Roche 454 primers cover from within the second framework region through the C-region.

 

 

The 100/150 PER primers are available for Illumina HiSeq, MiSeq, and GA IIx. The 250 PER primers are compatible with the Illumina MiSeq platform.
